Dr. Sushko is a multilingual international lawyer who specialises in providing legal advice and chaperoning international and national business projects, successfully solving legal issues of individual companies and joint ventures.
Since 2010 she has been carrying out a comparative legal analysis of laws in China, England, Ukraine and Germany. In 2012 Dr. Sushko acquired additional education in Company law-Legal English at the Cambridge Academy of English in Cambridge UK. In 2017 she successfully defended her Ph.D. dissertation “Civil-legal model of joint stock companies of Ukraine in terms of European integration and globalization: a comparative legal analysis of the legislation in Ukraine, Germany and China”.
Dr. Sushko considers that an international lawyer should speak and write in the foreign languages that they are dealing with. This enables an international lawyer to prepare documents in different languages, work with the original documents, search, find, apply, respond, analyse, think critically, understand their content and specifics as well as understand business partners from other countries.
Dr. Sushko cooperated with EU non-governmental organisations and has researched China’s One Belt One Road policies, perspectives and complex issues. She has been providing legal help to Chinese companies thereby enabling them to cooperate with foreign companies. Dr. Sushko is also providing legal assistance to companies in the UK enabling them to cooperate with companies in China ensuring that both parties stay within the legal boundaries of both countries.
Dr. Sushko has been managing the Elsushkolawyers since 2015.
Languages
Dr. Sushko can speak and write in five languages: English, Mandarin Chinese, German, Russian, and Ukrainian. She has begun to learn the Welsh language.
Awards
Dr. Sushko has received awards and letters of appreciation for her professional work, dedication, and diligence, including the Award "For Loyalty and Friendship" (2021); the Award for "The Special Contribution of the Year " (2019); the Award for "The Outstanding Performance and Loyalty" (2017), which were received by Dr. Sushko in China.

Dr. Sushko is a member of the British Association for Chinese Studies (BACS), the European China Legal Studies Association (ECLS), the Chinese Association of Forensic Linguistics (CAFL), the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA).

2017: Elizabeth Sushko has received a Ph.D. in International (private) law. The dissertation topic was “The civil-legal model of joint stock companies of Ukraine in terms of European integration and globalisation: a comparative legal analysis of the legislation of Ukraine, Germany and China”. The absract of the Dissertation is in Ukrainian, English and Mandarin Chinese.
2013-2016: Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine | Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, postgraduate education, oral defense of the dissertation.
2010-2013: National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine | Koretsky Institute of State and Law, postgraduate education. The Ph.D. Standards were passed with a Distinction by Dr. Sushko.
2012: Cambridge Academy of English in Cambridge, the UK.
Dr. Sushko acquired additional education in Company Law-Legal English.
2008-2010: Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv | Institute of International Relations. Elizabeth Sushko received her Master's degree in International law, qualifying as an International lawyer with an additional qualification as an English translator and Notary. The educational programme (1 year 5 months) also included 380 academic hours of German. She completed her Master's degree with a Distinction and Credit.
In 2009, Dr. Sushko received a Certificate for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Process Course: ADR Processes: Skills Development and Implementation.
2004-2008: Kyiv International University | Institute of International Relations. Elizabeth Sushko received her Bachelor’s degree with a Distinction in International relations, qualifying in International relations, with a specialisation in International law. The educational programme contained lectures in Ukrainian and practical parts in English to every lecture. It also included 1290 academic hours of Mandarin Chinese.
Dr. Sushko is the multiple winner of International Law Moot Court Competitions.
In 2007, she won the Awards for the Best Written Arguments Applicant, the Best Written Arguments Respondent, the Best Oral Arguments Respondent.
Volunteering · Impact on the development of youth
In 2009, Dr. Sushko was chosen to become a Judge at the Ukrainian National Round of the Telders International Law Moot Court Competition.
In 2008, Dr. Sushko served as the Head of the Organisational Committee of the First Forum on International Law Moot Court Competitions.

Participation in Conferences and Publishing Articles
Dr. Sushko is a regular participant and speaker at international and national legal conferences in different countries. Dr. Sushko also takes part in seminars and trainings on oratory and public speaking too.
Dr. Sushko is the author of numerous legal articles. The latest legal articles by Dr. Sushko have been accepted for publication in September 2020 and will be included in the following two Chinese journals: 《时代人物》1 and 《经济与社会发展研究》2. The titles of the articles are 《中国、乌克兰和德国的股份公司模式:比较分析》3 and《欧盟新《通用数据保护条例》的规定:关键术语研究》4 respectively.
One of the legal articles by Dr. Sushko in Chinese was published in 2016 in No.6 of《法制和社会》5; the title of the article was 《关于公司治理结构:比较法律分析》6.
